Mind you I’m gonna just be spitballing here cuz I had this idea during a random drive today and it should be treated as a rough draft. But here goes:
Characters for the Revolutionary War map could be George Washington, Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, and King George III. Would make for some funny dialogue.
For the civil war map you could have Abe Lincoln, Ulysses S Grant, Robert E Lee, and Frederick Douglas. Could get tons of funny dialogue here too and keep a satire-ish tone like in Five.
Perks that would have to come back would need to be Tombstone and Vulture Aid. Just litter the maps with perks honestly.
Along with this we could get a Blundergat MK2 style gun or a cool flintlock wonder weapon. Could even use it as an excuse to bring back the Kraken, or a modified version, as a bonus wonder weapon. Could also get more flintlock style guns that are weak but have OP pack-a-punch variants. And could have a rapier knife wall-buy.
For maps they could go the medium difficulty/complexity route. Something akin to Buried or Call of the Dead. Make the maps either be in Boston during the revolutionary war in a town leading to a field, or after the burning of Atlanta in the civil war while also having more of an open field kinda layout.
For the boss rounds I think demon horses would be sick. Like imagine a flaming stallion with fire coming out of its mouth charging at you. It’d be insane.
I think there’s some custom zombies maps like this but I’d love for some official treyarch ones. And as for the story? It doesn’t need to make sense. Could have modern guns in the setting for all I care
