  2. What? This is the same specs as my kid’s computer. He’s getting at least 1080p 60fps at a mix of midhigh settings with epic view distance. Almost certain he’s getting higher fps than that but I haven’t benched it.

  3. AlwaysHungry815

You did something wrong. You should be able to run fortnite at higher settings

  4. forsayken

Turn off ray tracing maybe? A system like this should be able to pull 1440p120 on medium settings.

Oh hey. That thicker cable coming from the back of your case. Is that the display cable? Is it plugged into the back of the motherboard? Ensure it’s plugged into the GPU. Otherwise it’s your settings. Maybe try low preset and ensure resolution is set to 100%.

Huh? That’s literally the 1080P@60 Fortnite – High Settings Starter pack PC. On mid settings you should break 90 no problem.

  6. The_man1282

Okay so I thought the pc had a problem and it might be the monitor because it might be capping the fps, so i’ll check that out.

What? This has similar performance to current green consoles.

  8. pattperin

Are you playing in performance mode? Changing that alone should get you to 144+ easily

  9. AL-SHEDFI

I think the case is the only one new in the picture 😁

You should definitely check the PC’s setting. Something is wrong. Maybe change some setting in game too

You sure you’re not facing any issues instead? My lil cousin had same issues for a year straight because he didn’t have drivers installed (out of everything I tried to help him with through online that was the issue xd)

Needs to be broken in, put 50 more icons on the desktop

  13. New-Relationship963

WTF? Thermal throttle or you left lumen on.

Bare in mind that Fortnite is an unoptimised pile of hot junk. It won’t run properly until a few games in when it has loaded the various resources, also enabling nvidia reflex low latency helped a lot.

  15. Aced_By_Chasey

This should run fortnite far higher fps even on max settings (outside of anything rt)

  16. 2009ToyotaTacoma

I get 80-120 FPS on 1440p low-medium settings with my RX 5600 XT

  17. jameytaco

You running your ram in single channel aren’t you

  18. Horse_3018

Ok so in another comment you said it’s getting 110 fps💀 what’s your definition of “can barely run”

  19. Banana_Juice_Man

What settings are you using, are you using performance mode?

  20. Bapposaurus

I can barely run Fortnite in any settings as Fortnites frame times go up to 30ms+ and i literally can’t move my character and mouse and when the character does start moving it’s got a massive delay

  21. Dramatic-Lychee-2089

Turn off nanite, virtual shadow maps and lumen

  22. ThePuffDaddy420

Brother I’m rocking a ryzen 2600 and 3060 12gb and sit at like 150 fps in Fortnite with mostly medium high setting and ray tracing.
