This happens all the time in normal games too, theres some weird collision going on when you strafe into walls at seemingly random points.

Surfing in CS2 is broken, sometimes you get stuck on ramps when you shouldn’t have. In your case, you didn’t get stuck in place because the server you are on has a plugin that partially fixes the issue. The server is constantly checking whether the current player position is the same as it would be using the old collision detection and if the difference is too big, it teleports you to the place the server thinks you should be. You see that as a hitch because the correction is not instant.
I hope that Valve fixes this since the plugin isn’t perfect as those hitched still exist.
