It’s managed to capture the fun I had back in the day playing Link’s Awakening on the Game Boy or A Link To The Past on SNES and a nice change from the recent AAA games I’ve played recently which end up more like a task.
I’m quite enjoying it, but I have to concede that the combat is just bad. If the correct and fun thing to do is always to whip out your sword, they kind of failed to make fighting as Zelda fun.

I solididly disagree, I agreed initially if you asked me a week ago. But after experimenting with multiple echoes at once and using bind, it’s actually really satisfying when you pull some whacky stuff off
