How bad does one’s pc have to be for it to stutter mid pre-rendered cutscene?
CrimsonRocks2
Runs fine on PS5

Its a Unreal problem that needs to be adressed. Too many UE games suffer from it
jf0ssGremlin
If I see a game runs on UE5, I don’t even bother at this point.

Get a better PC. Stuttering doesn’t exist on a good machine.

The almighty UE5. It’s not as mighty as they say.

I support optimization, and done poorly pisses me off, but I don’t have a crazy system and run a 3060 and it was a pretty good experience. I will add the bar is pretty fuckin low these days though, and there was for sure noticeable moments of stutter that were not aggravating.

This game looked pretty light on the spec requirements. Is it traversal stutter?

Gotta say, UE5 games are a real letdown. Frustrating even on a decent rig
VeilOfStardust
I suffer so much from stuttering in games on PC. It is usually Unreal Engine games actually 😔 Sea of Thieves and Fortnite, etc. Sucks that they are often like this.

I was stoked about this game but sad it was a remake vs a new story. But the graphics look amazing. I’ll wait for a sale to go on for it vs $70

Just because you’re using UE5 does not absolve you from understanding the engine, the hardware it will run on and writing solid code, and not a leaky memory mess and testing before shipping.

Modern joys of gaming. No wonder the top 5 on steam Charts barely changes

You guys are so funny. Pc is for shopping online. Games go on game systems.

But but but Bethesda needs to ditch the Creation Engine for Unreal. Hahahahahaha
Felielf
And next Cyberpunk is going to be in UE5…. fuck.
EmSnek
Kind of interesting seeing this, did not see or feel a single stutter. Could it be that i have it on an ssd and am running with a 7800x3d?
SheeleTheMaid
I’ll wait a year before buying, as the visual issues go beyond the stutter.
DivinoLife
I played 1 hour of it on max settings with ray tracing on, 1080p. For day 1 with no updates it was fine.
