Devs are having issues optimizing UE5, but Imma go the extra mile. Epic needs to optimize the engine just as much as the devs do.
We were promised the world with UE5 and how the things shown wouldn’t overall impact performance. and of fucking course it has.

I’ve been saying it for the past two years, this engine is shit. The asset streaming alone is horrendous. It requires hardware that has not been released yet and therefore should not be used now.

Shouldn’t this be the other way around with the engine beating the shit out of the devs and their attempts at optimisation?
