Been messing with trying to get my 7600x to perform a little better and running 3DMark Time Spy testing.
I keep seeing a handful of results with pretty high clock frequency’s but pretty good temps. First photo shows average clock frequency from a random result I found from someone of 5520 and temps of 68°
2nd slide is my results with average clock frequency of 5081 but way higher temps of 89°.
How do you get these lower temps and higher clocks like that? Water cooling?

Quality air cooler would keep 80-85C at max load. My be Quiet! Pure Base (4 heatpipe, single tower, single fan installed) keeps my 100W CPU at ~80C. Idle is <=35C. I’d recommend 6 heatpipe, dual tower air cooler, triple fan for 150+W CPUs. Also, TDP stands for Thermal **Design** Power, not what it will use, so use hwinfo and see how much power it actually draws and pick appropriate cooler*.
Or, you know, use PBO and CO?
