I expected this. They just won a big tournament, took a break, I don’t think Rio was their priority. I expected them to win a match or two and get eliminated, but they surprised me with losing everything. Overall I call it life. Those are human beings and they cannot perform all day every day. As in any sport you pick your battles, can’t prepare for all tournaments, you gotta give up on few to prepare well for the ones that matter. I don’t think it’s any bad sign, tho. They will take a short break in Rio, prepare for the next thing now that they finally have some more time between tournaments and will come back to their level. No worries. One thing is they won’t win anything with Malbs, Niko and Hunter all underperforming individually. It was weird to watch only Monesy and Snax doing something.
