They can receive items but not sell/trade them until the 1st of October 2025

Seems like a good move, perm ban on trade would have been stupid, but 1 year ban seems fine.

Love many creators involved in this. But what did they expect. lol

Good, didn’t expect Valve to have the balls to set an example. Fucked around and found out, streamer or not.

If it’s true that anomaly didn’t catch a ban that’s crazy he should have.

Note that they punished those who took advantage of a deathmatch lobby exploit that allowed them to level-up 5-10 levels in a single match, not those who were farming the XP by trowing nades, knifing each other, playing P90 in the tunnels, etc.

market manipulating by getting the skins before everyone else

the ban isnt going to do shit lol, they will use alts for trading and marketing to loop hole this, terrible example valve is scared to do anything

  10. i would refund all these passes if i was them. jesus, how low can valve go this shit isn’t only a cheap cash grab but a fucking scam too?

Seems pretty reasonable for both sides here imo

It’s not a small punishment, but nothing permanent or game changing for those who exploited. Hopefully it sets a bit of a standard if similar incidents occur later on

I guess people who used sv cheats exploit in premier matches got a pass though. /s

Seriously though, why would any one use the same exploit that banned people in the past for trying to farm the red service medal.
