So we all know that hitboxes in this game are dookie, it's always been like that, and it ruins combat when using vehicles as cover. Lately I noticed that the wheels have a stupidly oversized hitbox, so when you get run over by a vehicle although you managed to dodge, it's because the wheels are bigger than they appear to be, it's also the reason why people manage to pop your tires so easily while you're driving.

Tbh, there should be a white or red line around the vehicle to show us their hit box, just like how enemies have a red colour line around them in TDM, that helps a lot, and I think this is the only way
