With the money for an high-end gpu, is it worth waiting for 5090 release? What price range will it be and will it cause 4090/3090 prices to go down ?

Hi all,
I have to use my work laptop at home despite having a set up.
Could a KVM switch 2 PC 1 Monitor allow me to use:
– Both my monitors with my PC outside of work.
– 1 monitor and laptop as a second monitor when at work.
I have one monitor with 2 HDMI outputs.
