Call of Duty: Warzone

Random Question cuz I’m newish

I've been watching Some YouTubers trying to get better at the game. I noticed a lot of the fraggers have this weird movement that they do with the gun. Some people were saying it's a macro to switch weapons, but I don't think it is is. Firstly because, the weapon stays the same and I can't see a point as to why. And secondly I've seen someone do it on PS5 now. My question is does anybody know what settings allows you to do this? I'll drop a vid I saw from a creator called 'jvert' Any help would be appreciated!

It’s called yying it’s just a twitch because they snorted 4 lines of Adderall, it serves no purpose

My guy imma be fr with you, it’s just swapping between weapons really fast, but honestly there’s no reason to do this and people only do this shit to look flashy and look like they are doing a lot of things but all they did here that actually impacted the gameplay was a slide cancel for the speed change and jump to dodge bullets

If you want to watch good players you should watch Biffle for a truly good player without all the floof

It’s called yying personally. I use it so that my fingers are warmer up in case I get in a gun fight sometimes I yy and it pull the wrong gun out but that’s rare

His gun goes up and down like that because he has auto tactical sprint on and he presses Y Y (triangle triangle) really fast.

People do that just out of habit and to stay warmed up.

Tbh it’s more of a tick than anything else but I personally think if you’re fast enough at it it keeps the gun off your screen and improves overall view of what’s in front of you

Nobody talks about it but yy’ing is a popular mechanic in users who use mouse aim assist cheats. rewasd for example. It is mainly because using mnk cheats will grant you access to insane aim assist multipliers at your own control but the downside is that movement is not as smooth and yy’ing excessively helps to reduce the clunky movement. 🥲
