This picture was going to be part of my submission for the RAM leaderboard, got my latency down and was really pleased with it. But unfortunately, the regular Zen 3 sheet is locked and my phone didn’t show me so I thought I might show it off here at least.
However, I decided to salvage an old 120mm fan from my last build and I’ve “installed” it (using twist ties onto my AIO tubes) in front of my RAM to test actively cooling it. I’m currently running TM5 with Absolut anta777 config to see how hot my RAM will get. One stick was hitting 49.9c and the other was at 51.8c at the end of stability tests without active cooling. If the temps stay low, I might crank the voltage on my Samsung B die kit and attempt 4000 flat 14s as 1.55V was not enough to achieve those primaries.
I’ll post an update if I did go through with it and it works out, otherwise I might just post an update here. Additionally, if this works out and I keep the overclock, I might buy a new fan to replace the one I salvaged because it was a cheap and loud fan I bought when on a low budget in 2015. Wish me luck!
