13900k Down Clocking While Running Cinebench

Hello

I built a pc with a 13900k, msi mpg z790 carbon, and an nzxt kraken 360 mm aio.

When I run cinebench, I notice the p core and e core clock speeds drop lower than what they usually are when gaming or working.

Also the score is below 36k.

I am new to pcs, the only things I did were enabling xmp and setting a negative offset undervolt to -0.8. Everything else is stock and the power limit is 253w.

There is no thermal throttling.

Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Thanks

  1. What does it show under IA performance limit reasons in HWInfo? This can happen if ICCMax is set to 307A.

  2. from my point of view a normal behavoir, because the cpu does not want to damage itself.

regarding gaming –> most of games dont stress your cpu, the ways a stress/benching tool does.

you can lift your power limit in your mainboard, because your temps would allow it, but i would not recommend it.

dont know if you heard about the problem that i7/i9 of 13th/14th gen is going throught right now.
