    Good to see a lot of solid reviews ahead of release, shows some good support behind the game. I might check it out later this month as I was always slightly interested in the game, never really got into SH at the time as I wasn’t big on that style of survival horror, same for Resident Evil, until Resident Evil 4 started to change things up. This seems like a good way to check out the original game that probably won’t do everything as good as the original, but may likely be good enough.

    Yeah, right…. Critics can do no wrong..Only some trailers that don’t look that good and no demo, sure, instant classic 10 out of 10, 100 out of 100…

    Something feels off about this SH2 Remake, if it is that 100 out of 100, then why no demo, when it’s almost release date?

    Judging by the trailers alone, the character models and voice acting are wooden at best, bland at worst and is nowhere near the original SH2 voice acting and character models quality.

    “Eurojank” comes to mind, it’s not a bad thing for games like Risen/Elex and other games made in EU on a budget, but SH2 Remake trailers all have Alone in The Dark remake vibes.

    You can still play the original SH2 with fan made SH2: Enhanced Edition.

    I may sound too harsh here, but let me remind you that a way too huge part of modern so-called “game journalists” are nothing more than an external marketing department of game publishing companies.

    What’s funny is all “reputable” game reviewers giving high marks for all the big releases from all the big game devs even when they push out shitshow titles. I haven’t looked, but I bet every subsequent FIFA gets at least a 7 from ign, despite constant claims that the games are all the same
