Great work! Maintaining High K/D is harder the higher you go. I usually hit early ace tiers around 10-12 k/D and then fall back to around 6 or 7 by ace 10.
As long as you are fighting your K/D will work out. Trust yourself and take fights. You’ll get better at getting kills.
Also get an iPad or nice tablet. I play on the phone and most times I play with someone with better K/D they are playing on a pad.
Your FOV is so much bigger and it’s easier to spot enemies , and with so much more screen area, swipe down for recoil with good sensitivity settings is a game changer. It feels almost like they’re cheating because of that advantage, but it is what it is.
