CS:GO

After the update, this number is now almost always between 10%-20%, sometimes higher. Does anyone know why or how to improve it?

We changed how this number is measured. You are probably getting a lot of network jitter, which is now counted in the network quality readerout, if it exceeds a certain threshold. (Because if a packet is delivered, but very late, it is just as bad as if the packet was lost.)

You can turn on the new network quality graphs added today to confirm this.

I got the same thing now after the new update. Was playing this morning and it was fine and now it shows this number constantly

edit: turned on buffering packet 1 and it fixed it but still get spikes here and there

I swear, almost like every 1 in 3 enemies I look at make me lag like CRAZY, sliding to the side, bullets firing extra rapidly, stuff just slipping and sliding all over the place. It happens really frequently while just moving as well, sometimes lagging/stuttering so hard that I CLIP INTO WALLS and can see through them for half a second… what the hell. This game is unplayable.

Thats Valve next level gaslighting players. I cant remember exactly when but a few weeks or maybe even a month or so my game (and games of others too) started rubber banding like crazy, multiple times a round even and its been going on since now.. Infact it got even worse with the new update. Kinda weird to have this going on in cs but not in any other game with multiplayer

i’ve had awful time playing the game. bought and used the pass like an idiot before playing the game. lesson learned, i guess.
