Pretty incredible what they can achieve on such dated hardware, very excited to see what they’ll do with the Switch 2. Rumors have me excited.

The background scenery is pretty I guess but I feel like I saw at least as pretty stuff back on the GameCube, and to me Wind Waker had a drastically more appealing art style when it came to the actual characters (even if we’re talking purely about extremely toony stuff).
I’ll grant it’s prettier 3D graphics than like, the DS or even maybe the 3DS could pull off but it doesn’t seem like a graphical marvel to me or anything. Even on the same console from the same series, I think Breath of the Wild was much prettier.
