Ngl, I don’t even bother. The money is lost, doesn’t mean my precious free time needs to be as well.

I never buy games at retail price unless it’s already really cheap or it’s an indie game and I want to support the indie dev/Devs

I don’t even have time for all the good games out there. So if I’m not having fun within 10 hours of starting the game, I uninstall and move on. Happened with Hogwarts legacy and final fantasy 7

Ratchet on Clank (PC) wasn’t initially enjoyable ngl. I’m happy I touched it out though. It was fun in the last 5 hours.

My cyberpunk 2077 experience, except I finally caved when I literally couldn’t progress in a main mission. What an absolute waste of money.

I get this for the parts of great games that don’t re-play well for any number of reasons. Like the early parts of a lot of open world games, the intro level of any given Bethesda RPG the second time around, the Fade level in Dragon Age or the heist in Cyberpunk.

Happened to me with Jedi Survivor game. I’m not a big fan of Star Wars, and no matter how good the game is, it’s still Star Wars, so I never got into it too much. Thankfully I only wasted like 3€ on it. I imagine it’d also happen with Hogwarts Legacy, as I hate harry potter.
