I never understand the argument of saying it’s like Cold War?
I mean, it would make that pretty clear because they are using the same engine, but improving it.
Were people thinking anything different for BO2 zombies because both 1 and 2 were pretty similar as we are being honest.
The only thing that is technically like BO3 zombies, are the gobble gums…
To me, we are so far on zombies throughout each modes expecting it to be like this to be any different is kind of foolish imo.
Edit: I don’t dislike the classic zombie mod, but at some point they have to do something new each mode
And I’m glad they did that for BO3, BO4, and Cold War
I prefer Fresh and new approach rather than the same nostalgia over and over again.

Treyarch teased that it would be like BO3 a couple times.
At the initial reveal, Kevin Drew sat beside a table with a jar of bubblegum and a book about taking feedback.
He later stated that this experience would be on par with BO3.
Then when we first saw gameplay from the YouTubers who played Terminusbearly, they said the devs were going for a mix between BO3 and Cold War.
However, by everything we’ve seen, it looks like BO6 is just Cold War with gobblegums and a set crew sometimes 🤷♂️

Imo old school zombies should and will return at some point rather as a separate game mode in bo6, future cods and future remasters.
