Really liking the Styko x Freya analyst duo. Do you think Styko is here to stay as a broadcast talent? I think he’s a perfect candidate with his career as a player and his experience in analytical YouTube videos.

  1. I will be the first to defend him if he’s not analyst for more tournaments.

A gift that we didn’t deserve, but glad he’s here.

he fucks up a lot of phrases. nothing crazy but stuff like

    5v4 up vs 5v4 down.

if you make a point about how good steahrs entries are, it’s a bit iffy to then say “it’s easy to play when ur 5v4 down every t round”

but this will be fixed with time and experience I’m sure

  3. He better be.

Maybe some rough edges as I made a massive comment in the other post and got downvoted (guess I’m just mean as no one wanted to refute my specific points).

That said day two he’s already showing that he’s way more comfortable in the role.

Probably the best showing of a rookie desk jockey.

Do we not remember pimp or maui when they started??? I don’t think they were as polished, though the scene was definitely different when they entered.

STYKO’s great, but the desk will always be there. I think he still has some drive to compete, and he should pursue that while he still feels good enough and motivated enough to do so. I’m sure the desk will welcome him back with open arms when he’s ready, he has a great mind for the game and is very well spoken.

love my dude styko, but he needs a stylist to dress him

I really hope he can keep playing some pro cs for a while, but I look forward to the day we will get him as an analyst!

I think Styko would have a great career as an analyst, he will never be on a tier 1 team again.

I also think he is a bloody smart player and great at fitting into teams. He could have a good career in tier 3 raising the ceiling of teams he played in.

But I think he should be an analyst/ content creator firstly, but he should stay sharp and be the main substitute for multiple teams. I think it’s really weird that nobody actually signs up a backup for these events. Why does the coach always play rather than a recently retired pro?
