Probably fixable. Three things would make a clunk: hard drive, BD drive, fan. All easily replaceable.

If you don’t mind voiding the warranty (ecks dee) you could literally just open it up and take a look. If you hear something like that odds are you might be able to easily see what physically broke and in the best case fix it
