Probably a loose sata cable or it went bad. Try using another one for hooking up your default drive to your motherboard or plug it in and out on both ends.

definitely try reconnecting the drive. if that doesn’t help, try connecting it to another sata port. if that doesn’t help, try going to BIOS (F1) making sure the mbo actually knows it’s there. if you can see it connected and it still stays this way – then I’m sorry for your loss.
