For those that don’t get it, it’s related to the recent controversy regarding Astralis and BLAST. Astralis signed cadiaN who was then added as an emergency sub in place of br0 despite the fact that br0 is fine and had no problems with health or something else severe. But BLAST decided to overlook the rule this time around despite the fact that they refused to do the same for others previously.
And pros, namely the IGLs, attending BLAST aren’t very happy about it. Hence the “I might be unfit for Blast Media tomorrow” comments.

It would be pretty cool to see players actually stand up and take action against stuff like this, assuming it’s not just all talk

Good! I hope they do boycott the media day. Sends a strong message that it’s not right and Astralis should be disqualified.

LOL I love it. Last Talking Counter, Twistzz talked about how he was talking with people to start up another player union to protect the players’ interests. This is a situation where such an org like that could exercise oversight in keeping Blast and Astralis in line.
Edit: The HLTV article mentioned they reached out to 3 teams’ representatives who are at the Fall Final to comment on the situation and they all basically said they think Astralis is lying. That, in combination with Karrigan’s tweet yesterday and there only being 8 teams in attendance, you get a sense that a good chunk of the teams really don’t like what’s happening here. These tweets are that dissatisfaction on full display.
