What is your favourite varient of the 4 different ray gun mk2s? Personally mine has to be the Ray gun Y (brain rot) as it is such a good hoard killer and high round weapon

I havent used the Mark II X (dual wield) and Mark II Y (explosive) since AO was still new if ever, so I cant comment on those, but Id say I definitely prefer the Mark II V (beam) over the Mark II Z (shotgun).
