You kicked him into the air, doing like 90 damage. He then died due to fall damage. No kill for you.

unfortunately, the way pubg kills work you dont get a kill for doing the majority of the dmg, most other BRs have a mechanic that give you the kill if the blue kills the person or if they die to falling, etc. This guy had 1hp but since they got launched, they died to falling.
