The Witcher 3 is an amazing game but I have a science fiction bias so CP was always better to me. Despite the disastrous launch, after all is said and done this game is in my top 10. I envy anyone playing it for the first time in its final state. It’s an amazing story with amazing atmosphere in an amazing universe. I recommend taking the time to walk around from place to place and look in the nooks and crannies of the city. The detail is absolutely insane in some areas of the city.

I’m so jealous I wish I could go back and play it for the first time again. I’ve done probably 4 or 5 playthroughs and loved every minute. I’m not usually one to replay games but this was definitely the exception.

I am a massive Witcher fan – played the games, read the books many a time, I even write fic in that universe.
Cyberpunk 2077 is still the my favorite game and the best game I’ve ever played by a hilariously large margin.
Advice-wise: turn off subtitles (unless you need them obv) and turn off the speech blocks that appear above NPCs. Makes it more immersive. You’ve got two shots to make a really kickass build – you can level up skills like any RPG, and you have one full refund available. Just pick a weapon or two and level the skills that improve that – you’ll figure it out.
Above all else, sit back and enjoy the story. You’re in for one hell of a ride.
