It will never make a game on its own, it will always exist to augment a programmer/game-developer, but GPT-o1 is very very impressive compared to O4 in terms of reasoning capabilities it can wrestle with thoughts for even a minute even and it has very interesting behavior it resembles a lot more human thoughts than previous models and it can go back and forth almost with its own thoughts.
I had managed to get it to think for 67 seconds once and a few times for 35 and 20 seconds and I checked its thought process it was very interesting.
