I don’t get this, not gotten a single ad since I updated to windows 11, didn’t get one in windows 10 either, there are like 4 settings for recommendations and you just turn em off it takes 5 minutes and you just do it once

I’ve seen ads inside apps like Weather and Email (which I have replaced for FOSS equivalents) but I really never saw ads on my system

Just 20 years ago, i was using webroot spybot to remove ads. The only difference is that, the adware/ spyware isn’t third-party anymore.
