    It’s not an Elo system. If it was, they’d call it that. CSR gives bonuses for consecutive wins and also has the promotion/demotion mechanic at multiple score thresholds. Elo is a zero sum system where points gained are always taken from another player and CSR simply doesn’t work that way. Comparing it to a Chess player who is measured by the Elo rating system is just as irrelevant as it would be to compare your Premier ranking to Basketball player’s free throw percentage or any other random stat or ranking from a different sport.

    They don’t use Elo. Have you ever seen in chess that after you lose 2 games the next will make you lose 4 times as much as a normal lost match? Or the opposite.
