ps5 for price vs performance. every game works at good frames in 1440p for £275, i fail to see why id go back to pc where a decent gpu alone costs twice a ps5

Honestly forget the 4070. It’s way too overpriced. If you are willing to get the 4070 just get the 4070 super. You can save money by getting a 7800 xt or for the same price as the 4070 get the 7900 gre which has 6gb more v ram and way more price to performance.

Right, but the ps5 is plug and play and everyone already has the set up for it. With a pc you need a monitor, desk, speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc. and with a gaming rig you’d want decent equipment and not the cheapest stuff you can find, so no, in the end the PC on the right would require a bigger investment in the short term. Would eventually even out since there are tons of sales on steam but even then fuck digital licenses. Are physical copies of games even released for PC anymore?
