Is this an downgrade pr upgrade? Also my mobo is msi h510m a pro And i have 2666 herz ram and it was in auto and i cant access xmp. So is this a downgrade or upgrade?
you’re dropping the timings by a huge amount. that’s a little wild lol. you want to go one or two at a time. so you’d want to try for example, 20,20,20,50 and see if it’s stable. if it is then you can try 18,18,18,48.
If it was my ram out of the gate I would just try 18,18,18,36 at 1.35 volts and see if that’s stable. if it was I would just try up the frequency from there.
but I’m no master ram overclocker. I just like to squeeze a little extra out without too much fuss.
