    Hey r/battlestations!

After a few weeks of tweaking, retweaking, spending money, saving money, repurposing old stuff, organizing, and adding the finishing touches, I’m excited to share my home office (sysadmin)/gaming setup. Whether I’m grinding out work or jumping into a gaming session, this space is built for productivity and play.

    Specs & Gear:

    PC: Nothing super special
    CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT
    RAM: G.Skill RIPJAWS 32 GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30
    Storage: 1 TB wd_black sn850x
Case: Old stuff in second hand with some RGB lights

    Monitors:
    Main: LG 24″ 144Hz 10 bit
2 Secondary (left and right): LG 24″ 8 bit 166hz

    Peripherals:
Keyboard: My VERY old and trusty logitech Corded Keyboard. <3
Mouse: Logitech G502 Hero, awesome! Super mouse for me.
Headset and Mic: HiperX Cloud something

    Accessories:
    Desk: IKEA <3
    Drawers: IKEA <3
    Chair: IKEA <3
RGB and light bar: Aliexpress cheap stuff (it works!)
    Speakers: None. 🙂
USB Hub: I don’t have enough USB ports for all this crap. I had a very old USB hub that is being used below the table. I had to buy a extender in Aliexpress to reach the back of the PC.
Switch: 8 ports switch, just in case I need to connect more crap.
RaspberryPi: running some simple stuff like Pi-Hole, Homepage. Led Strip is connected to the raspberry 😛
BlackBox: Aliexpress, big black plastic box to hide all the transformers, eletric cables, the usual stuff.
Extras: Some stuff my wife gave me that are not in the picture, except the globe that is inside the case.
Laptops: work stuff, VPNs. I usually pull/rotate the laptop shelf and work directly on them (one at the time…), or I access them via Remote Desktop.

What I love about the space:

I think it’s the simplicity of it. Nothing to fancy, nothing too expensive and out of this world. It just works for me.

I added some more pictures so you guys can see the mess “behind” the scenes XD.

I’m still missing some decoration on the walls… but I have no idea what to do. We’ll see where this goes. 😉

    See ya!
