The new Ages System in Civilization 7 allows for dynamic changes within your cities. Buildings like the Colosseum may adapt to new needs, such as transforming into a homeless shelter. This mechanic adds depth and realism to city management in the game.

It probably doesn’t help that humankind came out with that gimmick and most players hated it (the gimmick, not the game. It think the game is ok, but far from my favorite strategy).

it doesn’t help that they didn’t really explain well enough, how the civ system is going to work . We need to know how this civ switching each age is going to work because people are making all the possible assumptions about it based on leaks or straight up wild speculation, from the worst ones to ones that basically mean you’re not really switching at all

Man that article read like somebody desperately trying to reach a word count for a college essay.

So many words to basically say

“It’s not all about a tech tree anymore. You have to meet cultural, economic, and diplomatic milestones to trigger new eras. The game may also offer unpredictable “opportunities” to advance as well. Backsliding on these milestones could result in your civilization regressing and entering a dark age. “

Who would turn a priceless monument from antiquity into a homeless shelter?

    > In Civilization VII, things will be less predictable. Civilizations won’t all advance in the same way or at the same time. You might find yourself in the Exploration Age while your neighbor is still stuck in the Antiquity Era—or worse, they might jump ahead to the Modern Age while you’re dealing with yet another coup.

They don’t have to reinvent the wheel, but maybe don’t trumpet features already present in Civ VI.
