Is it wrong that I kind of hope Deadlock fails so Valve actually focuses on fixing CS? And their other existing IP's?

I believe valve has been using this first year as a test period for CS2 before releasing large content. They have been gathering millions of datasets through the past year for Vacnet 3.0, I bet we can expect a major update at end of September and if not it would be October. No gamemodes or operations until vac net has enough data. Have pain for a year of no content and tons of cheaters but it will pay off once vac net is in full effect.
Valve is a greedy company and for them to not release an operation shows that’s they care for the game hence their efforts into VacNet. If valve didn’t care for the game they would be releasing operations/money grabs more frequently. Give it time and trust the process, patience is key here.

Can people please stop complaining about getting 100 fps less when they're still above 200?
Like at this point you're gaslighting yourself that it has any impact on mouse accuracy.
When the game physics tick at 64Hz and you have sub-frame packets,
this is just SUCH a "first world" problem, I can't even put it into words.
You're burning SO MUCH more energy to get virtually the same result,
because you MIGHT win 0.1% of the matches by a game deciding "competitive edge"
the extra frames brought you. And you're not even running it at a stable frame rate.
At that point, you probably have MORE inconsistencies and weird occurrences, than just locking it, to let's say 180.
I agree, that there is an optimization problem, but that's because I'm playing on a 970 GTX
and the game was well playable on release (70-100 FPS) while now it often dips below 50
at which point it actually starts affecting the capability to move the mouse precisely.
its just a disappointment that the hype around cs2 and watching shroud and other og cs players would actually bring cs2 back as csgo best years, but it turned out it failed and the game never retained their players from valorant.
Csgo was the goat. If they had just given us 128tick and a bunch of content while making cs2 a finished game on the background
valve said the first year will be focused in fixing the game. that's what we need to know.
If Valve had a To Do list what would be checked off the list? a couple pixel fixes? a wall removal? a railing removal for the silvers who don't know how to jump? the smg/shotgun damage/accuracy boost from hell for players like Gabe who couldn't hit the ocean using a tank? Only Valve could turn one of the best fps games ever into one of the worst in less than 1 year.

CS2 was def a long run play but they do need to simply put more devs on the project. For a game that brings them 1b a year its simply disrespectful to the playerbase to not have a whole COUNTERSTRIKE department in valve headquarters
Cheaters and smurfs in premiere is a absolute joke on top of the lack of content. Source is better than CS2 at this rate.

Luke, regarding the snap tap incident at EPL S20. Valve employees are monitoring the use of it. i guess they are just no kicking the players from the server to not potentially ruin rounds. But they can still detect it and that's probably how the staff came up to Heroic saying they detected something on their end.

I'm praying for almost any big update at this point, not because I want new content but because the cheaters seem to lesson a lot for a few weeks after a big update lol
Just give me danger zone back , Imagine i played danger zone a couple of hours a day , and all of a sudden the game one played most just disappeared , more than frustrating .
I hate the CS2 global cooldown 24 hours for playing with a cheater, goddamn I play solo what is my fault to recive that.
