3/4 of the guns right now are almost equally deadly and effective as Jackal. Some even more. Its just a perception that “Jackal” or any other weapon is the best and only weapon to use. Its definitely not.
So enjoy any weapon you want to use and dont think that people have an advantage over you because they are playing with Jackal or any other “Meta” weapon.

Been playing since COD1 and online since COD4. I only ever use the AK variant and a G36, CZ Bren or AUG type if they have one. That’s about it.
If my platform happens to be meta, so be it. If not doesn’t bother me. SBMM has made it 110% worse though. When you are in a sweaty lobby just do your best. I tend to play slower then (not MW19 Slow) but pre-aim corners and hot spots. Also crouch when pre-aiming. I find i do slightly better but as I will get hammered, the next game will be an easier lobby.

When’s the beta over? I don’t wanna grind it anymore bc no reason to other than the calling card and emblem. You don’t keep weapon levels, I don’t see why I’d use weapons that make it harder like a sniper rifle or handgun or shotgun if everyone is using smgs and the levels don’t stay come October…
