That’s unfortunate. While i believe s1mple can still kick ass in T1, i doubt any org can afford that or would want to pay that much.
Oh wait, i forgot about our favorite pride org.

So we won’t see S1mple until 2026? At this point I’d love for him to play for Navi academy because damn
ChaoticFlameZz
yeah no one’s going to sign a man with that buyout on top of him refusing to consistently grind the game with clearly no more motivation to even bother.
fantasnick
Even in 2021, it’d be hard to sell him for this price to most orgs, maybe only 3 I can think of that could afford this. Now, it’s probably just Falcons?
I think Na’Vi would have to settle for the $500k range if they realistically want a buyer in today’s eSport climate and with the fact that s1mple wasn’t top 2 before leaving active lineup for close to a year

3 millie bobby browns for an unstable (but an extremely skilled) player.
Ok
Patient_Apartment415
At this point his buyout is the same as those way over the top release clauses some footballers have.
It was a deterrance and a guarantee prime s1mple would never get poached by another team, but now it’s irrelevant.
Navi has no plans to get him back on the roster, but he’s still collecing those hefty paychecks. Doesn’t stream enough to generate much revenue back.
It was a win-win relationship, but it ran it’s course. Navi could probably still get maybe up to a million and let him have a few more tier1 years. If there are actually teams seriously interested and Navi doesn’t let him go for less than the buyout, it’s going to be a sad ending of this game’s GOAT. Keeping him benched until the end of his contract is a lose-lose situation. Navi gets bad rep, still has to pay his salary and s1mple’s career would be effectively over.

Falcons have that kind of money,if they want to make It work they can.
Ricky_RZ
So only falcons can realistically get him?
Navi should really just bite the bullet and sell him for less.
If his contract runs out, they get NOTHING
If they sell him at a reduced price, at least they get *something*
jonajon91
3m for prime simple is beyond worth it.
3m for simple now is like 1 mill per 1,000 elo.
Rolekk_
How fucking long is his contract?
WarDull8208
Yeah, none will pay even half of it.
RandomRedditUser31
that’s falcons music
Waste_Ad694
That’s a million for every kill he had in professional CS2.
Bright-Heart-8861
I don’t think we will see him in his prime
Strafethroughlife1
That’s absolutely insanity. We need a players union. All major sports have one.
No-Way-6106
Here’s an unpopular and idiotic idea….FAZE needs some young blood replacing the OG Karrigan.
THEzwerver
in theory, could I spend 3 million dollar on him so I can force him to play matchmaking with me? just hypothetically
nartouthere
3 million for prime csgo s1mple you can make an argument but 3 million for this s1mple with little data in cs2 is way too much

No team org going to pay that.
