I am not a pro, I consider myself mid-level and I play since COD big red one and online MLT since MW2. I dont know what is happening with all the youtubers and streamers. They want to be pair with low level players to kill them and ruin his casual experience. They want to get nukes while drinking coffee and have the possibility of have time to teabag in every kill of the streak. SBMM, from my point of view is fair. (I get a lot of tryhard lobbies but i don't scream and cry about that, just continue the grind). The streamers just wanted to be pair with little timmys and billy to kill them and make fun of them (content). Also, there is people that come from work and just want to have a good chill moment at night or the weekends. The SBMM make the game viable for everybody and makes the community bigger. Obviously, they must tune a little the SBMM to not be matched in bad connection lobbies but nowadays with the number of players, there is a lot of different available lobbies, I rarely got a bad connection public match. The reason of the downfall of cod is not SBMM, is more towards game structure and gameplay.
If everybody disagrees. Here is a video of a veteran and pro COD player with which i completely agree. Activision must keep SBMM and let the casual play with people of his same level.
