Teses on Twitter: “Fucking embarrassing and amateur from me… I turned it off ages ago when it was banned from Valve. I didn’t notice it during the game or anything and obviously didn’t do it on purpose. I let the boys down and I’m devastated about it… Sry”

    I trust him , because of the fucked up razer driver.

  4. A rule is broken. Regardless of his intentions, there will be a consequence to his actions.

    But arguing over his intentions, you have to apply Occam’s razor, commonly paraphrased as;

    >The simplest explanation is usually the best one.

    Do you really think that Tesses intentionally used Snap Tap in the opening non-elimination round of a group stage, against NIP, a team with mixed results, in hopes that ESL failed to detect it during the game, after the game, and after the series had concluded, and that ESL would take no actions against it, while playing for Heroic, a team which has previously been involved in cheating? I’m not defending Tesses, but it is exceedingly unlikely he cheated with the intention to win.

    I trust him, but it was a very bad circumstance consider his previous coaching bug stint. People will undoubtly keep talking about it every time he play.

    I believe him, but this sport needs to start enforcing rules consistently for it to continues to be taken seriously (ESIC get your shit together). I think the TOs handled the situation well and hopefully no one else makes the mistake here in out.

  7. Of course they shouldn’t have to, but couldn’t the admins just make sure to double check with the players before the match that they have it turned off? Especially since it’s the first esl event with the new rule.

    Why even risk it? Recall Dream’s faked speedrun record? He claims a similar thing happened. He forgot to remove the cheats. Not sure how it happens on this level.
