great advice! maybe we could do a colab, small channel on meditation for high performance with work with brazilian cs2, futevolley ball and bmx pro players.
You can be calm and still care about winning. For example, an emt really wants to save a person's life. In order to do that, they must remain calm and revert to their training based on the person's needs. They need to be in tune with the person and their knowledge of what to do. Now apply to cs
That’s actually not just for gaming it’s for real life as well! The reason why I was bad in school and couldn’t speak out my opinion even if I had one was because I was stressed to say something wrong or could get punished for having the „wrong“ opinion and might my class mates would make fun of it and many other negative core beliefs.
I think a lot of are also stressed if 4 people are watching your pov and you are might less confident because of it.

It's probably the most accurate but annoying advice for competitive people
Competitive people want the drama the juices flowing the adrenalin the thrill of victory
But the highest form of competitor is ice cold they dont care
Winning is just another day in the office
I would argue part of the game is to have thrill but you can’t be good at the same time competitively speaking.

Full your mind with the task at hand not your human whimsy's. Nothing else matters because you're playing cs.

A great tip, I still get so anxious/stressed in an average premiere match just bc I’m worried about making the right decisions. Need to chill out
