  1. Hi guys, first post here I think!

I built an AM4 all-AMD rig a few years ago (3600 + 5700XT, 16GB RAM). I’m currently seeing tons of stuff about how a 5800x3d is a huge upgrade on AM4 and can get me another few years on my mobo. My question is, with how old my GPU is, what is actually more important, the CPU or GPU? I’m running games in 1440p, and for the most part hanging in there, but needing to run new games with FSR and still getting some stuttering.

Finally, would I need more than 16GB RAM along with a new GPU + CPU to keep this AM4 rig 1440p reliable? Thanks for any insight. I’m completely lost and wondering if I should just stick with what I have until AM6.

  2. What’s better for a two monitor setup. 2 PCs or 1PC? I have a new pc with a 4070 and a old pc with 1070. Wanted to game on one and do miscellaneous on the other without affecting performance maybe even have a second game going. So as of now im leaning towards using both pcs
