There is no reason for anyone to be this upset about having to press 2 buttons instead of 1 unless they find that they actually have to put in even the slightest bit of effort onto doing it properly. Which is the entire point. On top of this, the two buttons you have to press are literally mouse 1 and spacebar. Your hands already rest on those buttons at all times.
If the removal of the bind is annoying to you, then why is that? Because pressing m1 and space is not tedious in any way, shape or form. In fact having your separate keybind in a button that your fingers don’t normally rest upon is MORE WORK to press, since you have to move your finger to press it. So the QOL is only an excuse. What you think is QOL in only having to press one button is in fact QOL in not having to put in the slightest bit of timing and effort to throw it. Which is the entire point of the argument, even when it takes very little concentration and effort, it is still an action you need to do. Same as every other in this game.
Literally just throw the fucking smokes manually and put in the slightest bit of effort into hitting the extremely forgiving timing instead of complaining about having to do it.

Unpopular take but imo 100% consistent Walk-Runthrow binds hurt the game more than they help. It’s humanly impossible to do some of the lineups because they need inhuman timing precision to always land. For the other lineups, it’s a skill issue and also better to keep them away from being gated behind a bind.

What QOL feature? The QOL feature is the huge window for perfectly precise jump throws and the grunt sound your character makes and that’s still in the game. Making a script via the developer console is not a feature.

That was the worst outcome of this situation, so now you get false positives bans and destroyed mm games for majority of playerbase, because some pros complained lmao. You shouldn’t have to have a custom config file to throw nades. This is the right direction in the long term and honestly the pros malding about it should be embarrassed. You practice the game 8 hours a day, surely you can figure out how to smoke mid on Inferno as a CT a new way. If there was a way to support the pros with money who aren’t complaining about it and instead using their time to figure out the best ways to run execs in the new patch, I would.

Im completely supportive of removing jump binds ,never used them and I’m a util guy jump and w jump throws are easy to do without binds in cs2 anyway but I’m just a noob with 7k+ hrs who doesn’t know anything my opinion doesn’t matter because the pros don’t want to learn how to play without binds.

i’m not using neither jumpthrow bind, nor null binds, not those rappysnappycrappytappy bs. just pointing out the logical inconsistency with those arguments. the only thing i used for convenience was a crouchjump bind, that i’m not crying about its removal.
somehow combining jumpthrow (with all its alterations) into a single bind is just qol and not cheating, despite being a necessity for some few throws, due to it being a timing check. yet, null binds are cheating, despite also just being the exact same type of timing check, just like those jumpsthrows.
