This image shows the inconsistency of their players. The youngins’ are kinda slacking. The amount of times rain and karrigan saved their asses…

Their hot start to CS2 was them bullshitting wins tbf, it’s Faze MO at this point but it was never sustainable to have massive comebacks, win half buys, every time play close games

They never looked dominant, even in the short span Spirit looked like an actual top 1 team, when Faze were doing this they never did look dominant

That Ancient veto in the Major final left FaZe a deep, deep scar…

This makes me sad. I absolutely love the current roster, but it might now be coming to an end. They all just seem so unsynergized and it seems like protocols dont exist with them. A lot of their lost games just seems to be lost to them losing one crucial round, and then that just piling on.

I am afraid that its going to soon be the end for rain (I would love to be proved wrong), and even scarier, the fall of the norwegian pro scene. I still have a lot of hope for hallzerk, but only time can tell, and I am not sure with jkaem yet.

Also please stop missing, broky 🙁

Honestly not sure whats the way forward for this lineup.
They have no strategic depth despite Karrigan constantly talking about changing their strategies and strat book. The “star” lineup is completely out of form, its always only 1 or 2 guys performing well.
The only positive is that ropz had a good tournament, but thats about it.

I think getting Frozen was a mistake and they themselves know it too hence the rumors about them trying to get Twistzz back. He is obviously a great player, but I think he has way too similar playstyle to ropz.

solid #6 , winning an event one of seven is pretty good no?

  7. 5 events, one of these listed above are Blast Groups. Very bad period nonetheless

I think as soon as the major is over Faze will make a change. Most teams won’t want to consider transferring their best players until after Shanghai.

Faze is all vibes and no proper system in place, it is fun counter-strike to watch but it is not sustainable if you want to be in the top fighting for trophies – if their aim is not on point they have no system in place to fall back and rely on, like NaVi can for example. They need a team overhaul and a different coach.

omg stop overreacting, first 6 month best cs2 team and now last 6 month decent, it’s only 6 month chill, they are not shit, they just reached semis you can’t be nr1 all the time.

    edit: sry meant quarters*

Honestly, Broky’s inconsistency is the biggest issue right now. Ropz and Frozen know they’re in a slump but Broky is just hit or miss, with lot of decisions which just were bad. I’d drop broky for a younger AWP (or s1mple?!?!)

Never forget that Liquid gave up an 11-1 lead so that FaZe could show up and play like this 🙄
