Hi first time posting here for myself I fry my motherboard messing with argb computer components while the computer was on. There's also an LGA 1200 and I had an eye 10700k. The biggest problem is with that is replacing the motherboard while still not cost you too much or spend more and get the upgrade worth out of it. In the end I found it very difficult to find an LGA 12 board that suited my hardware properly so I went to Best Buy. Coffee makers so I don't get murdered in my sleep by my wife LOL.

I have that PSU (Thermaltake smart series white 500w) in my 6650xt pc right now. It is considered bad and many recommend to replace immediately. I have another one in the mail. That being said it has lasted me a year or so.

Return that power supply unless you wanna fry something, get an A650BN. Also you don’t need that AIO cooler at all, just get a Peerless Assassin for $35. I’d use that extra money to return the 4060 and get an RX 7700XT instead, it’ll be much faster.

I would have spent more on the PSU. 4060 is nothing to shout about. I dislike the Thermaltake AIO because it uses non-standard cable plugs, and I have received a couple of return units within a year. The motherboard’s brand is quite overpriced in my opinion. I would have gone with MSI’s Mortar series for it’s bigger heatsink.
With that PSU i would divorce you

Man I will never understand people with partners that tries to dictates what and what not they are allowed to buy or get angry if the spend money on their hobby.
I will say it like this. If bills are paid and food are bought and all the important stuff i handled buy what ever the hell you wish I mean if it´s money you earned working hard you are free do to what the hell you want it´s your money not your partners. But I still say make sure the important things are taken care of beofre you spend it on what you want.
And if you partner complain well maybe they can get their own damn job and own damn money to spend on what ever they wish for.
As long as the important parts are taken care of. When 2 people are together they should take care of each other not 1 person only taking care about both.
But still in the end of the day it´s your hard earned money you worked your ass of spend it on what makes you happy because we live only once.
Im glad my partner respects me and my hobbies as long as I help with the bills and food first. And would never get angry if I bought something for my self with my own money.
