BSOD BEDaisy.sys almost always when exiting PUBG

Greetings survivors,

sorry for the long post (there is no TL;DR) but this might be my very last take before finally giving up after almost 2 years of tinkering. I would appreciate it if some people with knowledge maybe could help me out with some brainstorming, maybe I'm missing something crucial.

Around 2 years ago out of the blue I suddenly got BSOD's when exiting PUBG – always related to this error:

||
||
|Bugcheck name:|SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION|
|Driver or module in which error occurred:|BEDaisy.sys(BEDaisy+0x2FF39D)|
|File path:|BEDaisy.sys|
|Bug check description:|This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.|
|Analysis:|This is a typical software problem. Most likely this is caused by a bug in a driver.|

This BSOD does NOT happen always when I close the game but I would say about 7 out of 10 times.

Since I'm an hardware IT guy / gamer for more than 25 years now I thought i could fix this problem myself like I did with countless other mysterious problems during the years – WRONG.

I have 3 completely different setups at home and get this BSOD on all 3 setups when closing PUBG

Speccs Setup 1:

  • 7800x3d

  • asus rog strix b650-f

  • 2x 16GB corsair dominator ddr5 6200mhz c36

  • 4080 super

  • be quiet! straight power 11 1000w 80plus gold

  • nzxt kraken z73

  • samsung 980 pro 1TB NVMe M.2

  • windows 11 23H2

  • bios + nvidia + all other drivers up2date

Speccs Setup 2:

  • 12900k

  • gigabyte z690 aorus master

  • 2x 16GB corsair dominator ddr5 6200mhz c36 (extra kit, not the ones from setup 1)

  • 3080 TI

  • corsair rm1000e 80plus gold

  • nzxt kraken z73

  • samsung 970 EVO 250GB NVMe M.2

  • windows 102 2H2

  • bios + nvidia + all other drivers up2date

Speccs Setup 3:

  • 9900k

  • asus rog strix z390-f

  • 2080 TI

  • g.skill trident z 16GB ddr4 3600mhz cl15

  • be quiet! straight power 750w

  • noctua nh-d15

  • samsung 970 evo 250GB NVMe M.2 (extra one)

-windows 10 22H2

  • bios + nvidia + all other drivers up2date

On all 3 setups I have tested pretty much everything I could think of, some points out of memory:

  • old drivers / new drivers / up2date drivers

  • all kind of windows repairs / checks / fresh installs / sfc scan / dism commands and more

  • fresh installs of windows with only steam + pubg / no other software

  • all kind of different bios versions / settings

  • cpu OC's / ram OC's / gpu OC's / stock settings

  • xmp profiles / no xmp profile

  • multiple stresstests + memtests

  • monitored temperatures / voltages and such stuff – no overheating or anything similiar

  • reinstalled PUBG on different drives about 1000x times

  • tinkered around with settings like compatibility mode / run as administrator / windows defender / core isolation / memory integrity

  • disable / test windows driver verifier

  • all kind of pubg settings / dx11 dx11e dx12 and whatever

And probably 500 more points I just can't think of right now.

All 3 Setups run stable for hours in cinebench r23 and Prime95 on stock + oc profiles. GPU's are running stable on stock + oc profiles. Other games like RUST / CS2 / Diablo4 run perfectly fine.

MY personal conclusion: It has to do something with the BattlEye driver (as the BSOD says – but you never know). This would be perfectly fine with me if it would happen for everybody – but it doesn't. After doing research for months, reading through 1000 reddit posts (other people are experiencing this error aswell in games like EFT / Destiny2 and others, basically games using BattlEye like PUBG) I found countless people with the same setup speccs who experience this error aswell – and countless people with the same speccs and configs who AREN'T experiencing this problem. The ONLY difference I see most of the times is that I get this BSOD only when exiting PUBG – most other people get it while actually playing or when starting the game – I can play fine for multiple hours, just not close the game 🙁

I'm thankful for any "useful" input or hint you can think of, just throw it all towards me 😉 (yes I also consider "just uninstall this trash already" as useful now since I think i have tried everything possible).

Sorry for grammar/wording – not a native English speaker.

PS: I also tried to contact BattlEye support multiple times, sent them dump files, error logs and whatever – they are no help at all and don't really care, always talking about reinstalling BattlEye and disabling Driver Verifier and that's it – done it 100 times, didn't help at all.

What could be in common with your 3 setups? Do you have same softwares installed on all of the machines? Network and/or ISP issues? Have you tried with VPN or shared mobile connection? What about your router, has it been the same all the time and is it up to date?
