Hello pieisgiood876, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

**Components List and Pros/ Cons**
* Case: Thermaltake CTE T500 Air Full Tower * CPU: i9 13900k (It’s been fine for months but fingers crossed, sheesh Intel!) * GPU: Asus TUF 4090 OC (Only GPU in stock running at MSRP back when the 4090 embargo happened) * MB: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming Wifi Rev I * RAM: Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz CL30 * PSU: Asus ROG Thor Platinum II 1200w * Storage: 3x Samsung 990 Pro, 1 and 2 TB (x2) (40% off on Black Friday was too good to pass up) * CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420mm ARGB * Fans: Arctic P14 ARGB 140mm (x9), Thermaltake CT140mm (x1) * Misc: Arctic Fan controller, Lian Li L-Connect 3.0 Controller, Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 24pin + PW16
Yikes, Asus and Intel I know, but what’s done is done and so far the build has been kind to me so knock on wood!
Pros:
* The Arctic 420mm keeps the 13900k from throttling even at 253w. After 3 hours in Cinebench R23, the temps never exceeded 85c with an ambient of 27c, scoring ~39200. * The TUF 4090 cools surprisingly well. I was worried about the hanging vertical mount affecting temps but it averages 60-63c during gaming when ambient is 26-27c. 1 hour of Furmark showed a steady temp of 73c with a hotspot of 84c. Coil whine is present but only noticable when directly next to the case. * Airflow and cooling is excellent. The hot air moves upwards towards the exhaust, the GPU tends to vent to the side and upwards, and very little dust has accumulated due to the positive pressure of 8x intake fans.
Cons:
* It’s enormous. When I get a proper desk, I’m not sure how I’m gonna store this beast. It’s heavy enough that I’m worried about putting it anywhere but the floor. * It’s not the best case for presentation, in that respect I miss the Lian Li fishtank designs but alas. * Arctic fans were fairly affordable and do their job, but above 60% can be a little noisy.
