I hope it will be again more like 2 and does not try to be a pseduo souls like garbage like the dumpsterfire 3rd game, I refunded that literally after the first 30 minutes. Genesis was fun in coop tho.

Just make the game like 2, no multi-player no bullshit and a good story and fun action adventure game.
I hope this game brings the series back, but in this industry you never know.

Oh lordy, a Remnant style game that plays like Darksiders? I’m down. Gunfire has a lot of work ahead of them, especially if this is a strife solo game

Wonder what direction they’ll go with the gameplay since each game is unique. I’d love something more akin to Darksiders 2 again since it had the most controllable physics system (proper launchers/juggles) and a better base moveset that actually allowed for pretty elaborate combos. Honestly it’s probably still my favorite western developed action game even all these years later.

Surprised these are still getting made, first one was decent but I’ve had “the beams, you have to redirect the beams” stuck in my head since that came out and never played another out of resentment

I’m cautiously optimistic.
I absolutely LOVED Darksiders 1 and 2. Not so much 3. And Genesis was awesome.
So I’m up for trying new things, I just wasn’t really a fan of the souls-like elements of 3.

To be fair it looks like a remaster of the first game. they didn’t announce anything beyond showing this teaser, which is a scene from the first game
