CS2’s first anniversary is coming up soon, surely there is some new content or an operation?

As a really old cs player this entire situation is depressing… and then I look at tf2. Anyone who took that game seriously.. I feel terrible for them. Rip!

CSGO had the first operation after 9 months* Operation “Payback – April 25, 2013”
we are ignoring the massive improvments they made to the game since release, do we?
the game has moved further in a year than csgo did in the first 3 years after release.
Content is low, yes however, we are getting pumped with fixes and improvments compared to csgo

None of my friends is playing anymore and I stuck with FaceIt verified Smurf’s without Steam accounts, people without mics and cheaters. So much fun.

Content update you mean adding poolday that already existed many years back and they literally had 0 work to do and they still failed and had to patch it later? Arms race has 3 maps while this mode has thousands of good community maps to choose from… CS players’ expectations got really low lol.
My guess is they won’t add any meaningful content, because the core of the game is broken and they don’t wanna break more to make it more difficult to improve and fix. So yea they can add an already existing map or few to the pool, but that’s as much as you’re gonna get.

CS2 is moving slow because it is a beta.
They had to move the skins over first, which means it can’t really be called a beta– but that is what it is.
