for those with gaming laptops who need to hear this:
sometimes we need to game on a laptop. sometimes this fits our lives, and a proper desktop setup is just not feasible at this time.
there are still a number of upgrades that can be done with such a setup. while you may not be able to upgrade the laptop itself, you can start by upgrading the rest of your setup.
probably the most key being a good mouse. then things like a good keyboard and monitor (or TV), that way you have some good stuff to hook it up to when you get home or whatever. things like a laptop cooling stand or maybe even a eGPU if your laptop supports it.
a good desk and desk chair. maybe a bitching headset, etc.
