Is it like mega evolution with pokemon and people would rather see this comeback than some of the other gimmicks added in the series.
Personally I Like gobble gum in concept however I disliked the fact you could pay to win it by just buying shit loads of liquid divinium.
But honestly it's tied with the sacrificial alter for me, only because I see it as having a lot of potential and when it comes to potential and trearch, I can see them using some voodoo black (ops) magic to make it iconic.

They make the game way more replayble and easier for people who need/want it. No one’s forcing you to use them so there good for sure. Really all Megas and classic should just be free but ofc treyarch isn’t gonna do that
I don’t understand the bitching as they are completely optional.
Gobblegums were a great addition to help players who need a boost. They are also optional, so not everyone has to use them if they aren’t a priority I enjoyed the elixir system from bo4 as well. Being able to pick 4 with each having a cooldoen and a perk that helps the cooldown (Timeslip). I’m excited to see how gooblegums will function in bo6.
They are definitely a crutch to make the game easier but I don’t hate them I just don’t like the mega ones where someone can change the game for everyone by dropping tons of fire sales in the first round ruining the classic set up process
It’s cool when you open them up and get cool perks or abilities from it

They are such a good game mechanic that they single-handedly ruined the pacing of pub matches.
If they were properly balanced and didn’t involve MTX it could be much better if brought back.
Love Gobblegums, makes the game repayable and fun.
They can make the game go a lot quicker, which is good because I don’t want to spend 20 minutes opening doors before getting the box and perks.
the ones that are op are incredibly boring and I dont use them and I sigh when I see randoms do (i dont really care if they do but you know)
I like the regular ones though, fun mini perks to cycle through
Extremely lame. Insane that a P2W loot box style consumable product is so “revered” by this community. Mainly people who couldn’t hang on earlier zombie games but found that they could finally succeed if they could start every game completely maxed out with all perks and weapons and upgrades and then dashboard and keep everything.
I’m OK with them, but don’t like how you loose them if the host quits.

I understand both sides of the opinions, and there should just be an option on pub matches to either disable or enable them to make life easier for both sides.
I don‘t care for them, but I’m really hoping that their return in *Black Ops 6* is an indicator that we’re getting a difficult Zombies mode again.
I like them. Sure there are a couple busted ones, but a lot of people seem to never mention the completely useless ones (looking at you board to death). Plus they can make things easier/more enjoyable, and if you want a “challenge” just don’t use them.
I always avoided using them unless testing something from myth busting mondays. I don’t need no damn handouts playing zombies
Classics are fine, but if the pay to win lootbox aspect of the Megas was in any other game, people would hate it. It doesn’t help that some of them are stupid broken and trivialize the progression system.
The classic gums are great and well balanced but the megas are way too overpowered. They are balanced if you are doing the Easter eggs but some of the eggs seem designed around gums which is bad design since they cost money. Doing revelations with no megas before round 30 is almost impossible without crazy luck
Super fun way to make the game fun when you’ve done the EEs and want to shake things up. Dont like? Dont use. Game’s the same without them.
